Wild Horizon Rescue

Full-Stack Adoption & Rescue Management Platform

Built with: React, TypeScript, Supabase, Tailwind CSS, Vite

Wild Horizon Rescue is a full-stack web platform designed to help dog rescues scale their operations without scaling their overhead. Built with real rescue operators in mind, the app streamlines everything from dog browsing to adoption applications, volunteer management, and donations all in one secure, intuitive system.

Key Features:

Full dog profiles with personality traits, compatibility info, photo galleries, and urgent adoption flags

Multi-step adoption application forms with validation and encrypted PII handling

Real-time admin dashboard for managing dogs, applications, volunteers, and donations

Volunteer onboarding with role selection, availability tracking, and approval workflows

Secure PayPal donation integration with receipts

Purpose: Wild Horizon Rescue was created to replace manual workflows that burned out rescue admins. Too many rescues rely on spreadsheets, email chains, and scattered platforms. This app gives them a unified system where applications flow in automatically, sensitive data is encrypted and audited, and volunteers can self-onboard. The result: a rescue that can scale without losing quality or burning out.

About The project

Wild Horizon Rescue admins were drowning. Everything happened via email—applications, volunteer sign-ups, donation tracking. Data lived in spreadsheets on someone's laptop. There was no way to know if a critical application got lost. Scaling seemed impossible.

This app was built to solve that exact problem. It takes the chaos of manual adoption management and replaces it with a system that runs 24/7, secures sensitive data, and gives admins their time back.

From a user perspective, it's simple: browse dogs, apply, track your application. But under the hood, it's built for production—with encrypted PII, role-based access control, audit logging, and the infrastructure to grow as the rescue takes in more dogs, volunteers, and donations.

This project blends clean UX, purposeful functionality, and serious backend security to deliver a meaningful rescue operation experience.

Key Technical Highlights

Frontend: React 18 with TypeScript for type-safe components. React Router for navigation, TanStack Query for intelligent data caching, React Hook Form + Zod for bulletproof form validation.

Backend: Supabase for unified database, auth, and storage. Custom SQL functions for AES-256 encryption/decryption of PII. Row-level security (RLS) policies enforced at the database level—not just the UI.

Security: Every admin action is logged with timestamps and user info. Sensitive applicant data is encrypted at rest and can only be decrypted on-demand by admins, with each decryption recorded. Admin sessions timeout after 2 hours.

Design: Mobile-first responsive design with WCAG accessibility compliance (semantic HTML, ARIA labels, skip links). Nature-inspired visual theme with smooth animations. SEO-optimized with React Helmet and structured data.

Tefillin Daily is a mobile app designed to help Jewish individuals stay spiritually connected through daily Tefillin prayer. Built using Lovable.dev and Supabase, the app guides users through their Tefillin journey with prayer resources, audio guides, streak tracking, sunrise-based reminders, and a supportive global community.

Key Features:

  • Full prayer library with Hebrew, transliteration, and English

  •
  • Daily streak & progress tracking with calendar view

  •
  • Location-based minyan finder & sunrise alerts

  •
  • Global & private prayer chats for community support

  •
  • Clean, intuitive UI for quick access and personalization

Purpose:
Tefillin Daily was created to make it easier for people to build and maintain the meaningful habit of daily Tefillin. By blending tradition with modern tech, it fosters both individual growth and community connection.

About The project

Tefillin Daily was born from a simple idea: make the mitzvah of wrapping Tefillin easier to start—and easier to stick with. Many people want to build this spiritual habit but struggle with consistency, guidance, or a sense of community. This app bridges that gap.

Built using Lovable.dev and powered by Supabase, I designed Tefillin Daily to be more than a prayer app—it’s a digital companion. From sunrise alerts and guided prayers to community chats and achievement streaks, every feature encourages users to grow in their practice at their own pace, with the support of others on the same path.

This project blends clean UX, purposeful functionality, and respect for tradition to deliver a meaningful daily experience.
